THE PSALM-BODY'S PRAYIN' GROUP

As a music leader, Linnea knows just how difficult it can be to find music that is appropriate and available! The Psalm-body's Prayin' Subscription List is an inexpensive service for people working in music &/or worship leadership.

For a minimal yearly fee, Linnea agrees to send virtually everything she composes, arranges, transcribes or collaborates on to subscribers. Members receive a PDF copy of group, congregational and choral pieces on a regular basis. For example, last year's compilation of PBP e-mail-outs showed that we had sent out to subscribers:

THE COST

We charge $30 Canadian (Plus GST/HST in Canada) for a 12 month subscription. Your subscription year begins with your first dated receipt of a piece of music. With GST/HST in Canada, the total amount for Canadians is $33.60. For others, it is the equivalent of $30 CAD.

THE COPYRIGHT AGREEMENT

The subscription list would commence immediately upon receipt of the attached form or e-registering with our office through our web-site. A regular e-mail will bring a PDF attachment of a Finale music document to you. Every effort is made to give ample advance e-mailing for lectionary-based psalm responses, worship aids and anthems.

Your original score belongs to you. You have permission to use and copy the piece in your congregation or group during your subscription term free of charge. However, royalties for copying the piece in a year in which you are no longer licensed must be paid to Borealis Music. (Our congregational music is licensed through LicenSing and CCLI. Choral music must be paid for individually) you may have multiple groups with whom you personally are working and for whom this subscription is valid. But, you may not give the full score to someone for use outside of your own group(s) /congregation. They must either sign onto the subscription list or purchase the piece by sending $5 to Borealis Music.

WHAT'S A PDF?

An Adobe pdf file is one that allows you to view/print a document in its original format, rather than having to own the software for every document that gets sent to you. In order to view it, you must have Adobe Reader software properly configured with your browser. You may download this software FREE from Adobe's web site, http://www.adobe.com Please save the attached PDF file on to your desktop to open.
