• Born March 24, 1962 in Boston to Patricia (Brewer) and Frank Good. Raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick, the eldest of five children in a close-knit, musical, non-religious family.

 

• 1980 - 83 attends the University of New Brunswick; graduates with a BA (Honours) majoring in French Literature, spending a year at the University of Grenoble, France.

 

• 1985 moves to Vancouver, BC.

 

• 1985 - 88 employed by Dunbar Heights United Church in Vancouver as a youth worker and choir leader

 

• 1988 produces her first album, A Word To Begin With - songs of youthful inspiration.

 

• 1988 - 1991 attends the Centre for Christian Studies and Emmanuel College, in Toronto, obtaining a Master of Religious Education degree.

 

• 1991-98 works for Marpole United, then Ryerson United Church in Vancouver as a “Musical Animator”

 

• 1994 meets future spouse, David Jonsson, while recording her Christmas album

• April 2004-February 2005  Swimmin’ Like a Bird nominated for Children's Album of the Year in Vibe (Shai) Faith Music awards, Outstanding Children's Recording by the Western Canadian Music Awards and Top Children’s Recording by Canadian Independent Artist (Indie) Awards

 

• Sept-Dec 2006 Linnea and David and family tour the United States for 106 days

 

• October 1, 2006 Linnea and Nancy Reeves launch new book for children 6-10 Adventures of the God Detectives (Wood Lake Books)

 

• September 2008 “Momentary Saints” is launched and Linnea celebrates two decades of music-making

 

• October 2010 Good Book II is launched

 

• Feb-Mar 2013 Linnea & David and Jonsson-Good family tour India, offering music ministry at the two Christian Medical College Hospitals of Ludhiana (Punjab) and Vellore (Tamil Nadu)

 

• April 2013 Linnea joins Charlotte Diamond's Hug Bug Band​

 

• January 2014 Linnea and David begin work at Summerland Montessori School​

 

• January 2014 films DVD "Linnea Live@Epiphany" at Victoria BC's Epiphany Explorations event
